One week has passed since my book, The Church and AI: Seven Guidelines for Ministry on the Digital Frontiers, came out.
If you bought a copy, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. For a brief moment, it reached #1 in Christian Leadership in Canada and #4 in Artificial Intelligence—somehow above the many books on AI that I quoted! It was a release beyond my wildest dreams. Thank you.
The fact that the book is now available leaves me with a mixture of joy and relief, but now I find myself asking an all-important question:
What next?
As a family, we’re weeks away from welcoming our third child into the world, which will dominate much of my time for the next little bit.
I’m sure you understand.
But regarding the future of The Church and AI, I’m arriving at somewhat of an impasse where I feel I’ve said everything I have to say at this juncture. Perhaps it’s just the exhaustion of the book-writing journey clouding my thinking.
But that’s where you come in.
I would be extremely grateful if you would be willing to do at least one of the following two things:
Read The Church and AI, and leave a review on Amazon and Goodreads. It’s very strange knowing that the book is out there but the reviews are not!
Let me know what you’d be interested in reading more about here at churchandai.com. Are there areas that you’d love to hear more about? Are there things I’ve missed that you’d like more information on? How can I serve you?
The purpose of this Substack is to provide a service, and hopefully, a helpful one. I’m not interested in writing just to maintain a subscriber count; I want to be of genuine value to my readers. So if you have the time and the inclination, why not comment below or reply to this email if you received it in your inbox and let me know: how can The Church and AI continue to serve you well?
I’m very much looking forward to hearing from you!
